The park turned out to be Tom's first target. He'd thought about it, and came to the conclusion that it would serve well as a testing ground.
The place bustled with life when he arrived in the afternoon. The weather was nice, sunny with only a few clouds, and the summer holidays allowed kids of all ages to come visit. Some with their parents, some with their friends.
Tom entered the park while wielding the wand in one hand. He didn't dare let go of it anymore. It had become his most prized possession, after all.
He felt somewhat nervous, if he had to be honest. His idea to turn the small town into a haven for musclebound teens was nothing short of ambitious. However, Tom was completely committed. The more he imagined it, the giddier he felt and the more his nerves ebbed away.
"Alright. Now I just need to start somewhere." Hummed Tom quietly, scanning the park.
There were lots of people of varying backgrounds milling about. He spotted a playground where kids as old as his little brother were playing together. Up ahead, a group of geeky boys were playing a card game. Some older teens were busy chatting with each other next to a bench. He even recognized some friends and classmates from school.
