The Grand Line is home to many infamous pirate crews and one particular crew has ran into some bad luck. While the Straw Hat Pirates were battling a Vice Admiral and his fleet, their captain, Monkey D. Luffy, was affected by the Vice Admiral’s powers, which is the ability to temporarily disable the powers of a Devil Fruit user. After the rest of the Straw Hats sent the marines packing, they tended to their captain.
“Man, this whole “losing my powers” thing sucks!” Luffy exclaimed loudly.
“It’s your own fault, Luffy! If you hadn’t decided to charge in and fight the Vice Admiral by yourself, you would still be able to stretch your body!” Nami replied.
Nico Robin walked over to Luffy and pondered about his current situation. “It could be possible that the disappearing of your Devil Fruit abilities may only be temporary.”
“Well, if our shitty captain isn’t going to be rubber for a while, then at least, he won’t be stealing food as easily during dinner.” Sanji said with a slight grin on this face.
The long-nose sniper, Usopp, was currently suffering from “shaking legs-itis”. He then said in a scared tone, “B-Be serious, Sanji! The strongest person in this crew just lost their greatest power!”
“You’ll be fine as long as you have me and.... shitty mosshead...” Sanji said bitterly as he eyed the sleeping Zoro.
Chopper goes to poke Zoro and says, “Zoro, are you dead? You’re not moving.”
All of a sudden, the rubber captain starts walking away from the rest of the crew and heads to another part of the Merry.
