It was a couple of hours after the Russo family found out the news that it would be a while before their youngest son (now daughter) would change back and that the spell would only break on it's own Jerry and Theresa decided the punishments for Justin and Alex. Justin had to do all school work that Max missed during his/her time as Maxine. Alex was being given a slightly different punishment she would have babysit Maxine when she was at home (during school hours Maxine would be kept in the house under the eye of either Jerry or Theresa). Even Alex's friend Harper was being punished in a way she was to take care of the waitress duties of Alex and Maxine (though she was being paid). The reason Max now needed a babysitter was because the spell seemed to have gone a bit deeper then anyone predicted Maxine now had the physical limitations of a eight year old girl but more then that the Russo family had to keep Maxine a secret lest they be exposed as wizards therefor Maxine had to act the part her new body gave her at least in public. The last change in routine came for Maxine who was to stay with Alex this being due to the fact that she could no longer navigate through the room she had as Max.
"And remember to keep a close eye on her at all times" said Jerry as he put the box of Alex's old clothes on the floor of his teenage daughter's bedroom.
"Don't worry dad" said Alex as she began patting Maxine on the head "I'll take good care of her" she assured him.
"Ok then good night girls" said Jerry as he exited the room.
"First thing's first lets get you out of those clothes sis" said Alex referring to the overly large clothes Maxine was wearing when she transformed as she began digging through the box of her old clothes. "Oh I think these would look adorable on you" Alex remarked pulling out a pink pajama top with the message "little princess" in rhyme stone and a pajama bottom printed with pictures of ballerinas.
"No way" said Maxine angrily.
"Don't you raise your voice to me little lady" said Alex as she whipped out her wand and enchanted the pajamas to come to life and begin to chase Maxine.
"Take this" said Maxine whipping out her own wand and saying a spell nothing happened however.
Alex chuckled "I guess your powers are limited now" she mocked as her pajamas's continued to chase Maxine until they finally caught her and forced them selves on the little girl.
Max wanted to rip the pajamas off but she couldn't because a part of her actually liked them "their so pretty" she thought "No their ugly" she told herself.
"I was right Maxine" said Alex as she took Maxine by the hand and dragged her to bed.
"It's only eight" Maxine complained trying with all her might to break Alex's grip.
"And eight it when all good little girls should be snuggled up in beddy bye" said Alex as she lifted Maxine and placed her in bed then laid down next to her. "Besides we girls our beauty sleep" she added as she waved her wand and the lights turned off she then wrapped her arms around Maxine who was now trapped in her sisters grip it was not long before both girls were fast asleep.
