"W-what!? Pinkie, let me eat something," you stamp your hoof. "If I'm going to have a party, it's not going to be on an empty stomach."
She widens her eyes a bit and rubs a hoof on her chin. "If you really haven't eaten anything..." The motion is almost too quick for you to see, but she ducks into the pile and tosses you a sweet with her nose. You blink in reflex as it almost hits your face and drops on the ground. "Don't worry, it's on the house. But not the roof somehow."
She bounces away from her pile of sugar and gives you a backwards smile. "Now once you're done, come up to my room. I haven't had a good party in a while, so this one's going to be a doozy! We have so much to decorate!" Her bounding steps can be heard all the was to the top of the stairs. You give the pile a longing glance, but it occurs to you that she's right: the kind of party she's throwing will require all the food she can get.
