This choice: His shirt seems a little snug. • Go Back... Dad enters back into the living room to sit on the couch, and you notice his clothes are looking a little more snug than usual. Rather than being nosy, you decide to not say anything and continue to side eye your Dad. As he hops back onto his laptop, you notice he's back on the encourager gainer website. You recognize the website since you've explored the gainer and encourager scene. Is Dad a gainer you ask yourself? That can't be. You kind of feel awkward thinking about your Dad growing a belly, but it also is making you excited to watch him grow before your very eyes. You'd have the best and one of the most coolest experiences helping your Dad discover his true self.
As you try to be discrete and eavesdrop on what your Dad is doing, it looks like he is creating a profile to track his gains. You see in bold letters out the corner of your eye that your Dad's weight was 275. You decide to move back into your room leaving your Dad in the living room. Holly cow, my Dad might become a cow you think to yourself. What if he goes beyond chubby and super chub to immobile? The potential is endless! You aren't sure how to react to your observations, so you stay in your room playing video games and watching the latest 60 second videos on some popular app. As you lose interest in your devices, you decide to go back into the living room.
As you make your way back to the living room, your are dazed with the lack of sunlight in the house. It's now early in the evening. Dad was still on his laptop, and now a little more of his lap seems to have grown. A sliver of belly begins to peak out of his shirt, and your heart beat starts to pick up the pace. "I'm starting to get hungry", Dad stated. What do you want for dinner then you ask? He decides that he wants more than just the usual pizza desert and drink, instead he decides to double the order. As Dad places the order with the app on his phone, you are surprised with him doubling the order. Dad notices the surprised look on your face and say, "What? This way we can get our fill and have leftovers. Besides paying delivery for pizza can be pricey as it is".
The food arrived in what seemed as no time. You take the delivery from the driver and hand them a generous tip for their service. You take the food into the kitchen and let dad have first pick. AS he loads up his plate, you sit back down on the couch and hear him talk to himself. "I almost forgot!" he said sounding excited. You hear the rattling of the bottle from earlier. You look on the end table next to the couch and see that the laptop was closed shut. Dad makes his way back to the couch with plate piled high with pizza slices. Isn't that almost an entire box you ask? Mans gotta eat if he's hungry, I also paid for the food so why are you worried Dad said. I dunno you shrug your shoulders as Dad begins to feast.
You go to the kitchen to set yourself up a plate and see the bottle was left out with the cap off. You glance at the label and recognize the label immediately from your time learning about the community of encouragers and gainers. The bottle still looks a little full, luckily Dad hasn't over done it. You think to yourself about a post a user made about how it can take time to earn a belly, and how some people take a more traditional route. Either way, your Dad is getting fat. You wonder how much longer it might be before he asks you to give him some belly rubs.
Grabbing what was left of the first box of pizza, you go back to sit down on the couch. You look at your Dad's plate and he's already half way done with his pile of slices. You watch in amazement as he continues to eat his slices with out much effort. As Dad makes it to his last slice, you offer him your plate since he was reaching the end of his pile. He thanks you for the offer, but declines and suggests that you should finish your meal.
While you start on your few slices of pizza, Dad gets back up and walks to the kitchen to start on the next course, the pan cookie for desert! He takes half of the pan and sits back down on the couch. You seem to have a major sweet tooth tonight you said. I can't help it tonight, it looks so tempting tonight. You have finished your plate and are ready to call it a night. You leave the couch and head to your room. Your Dad decides to stay out in the living room for awhile longer.
