She sensed something going on. She noticed the ornate looking die on the counter. Apparently, she had to deal with this man, too. Almost immediately, he came in with something new, and something old. He had some rimless glasses, but his hat and cane stayed the same. Jane felt like shovi g him out the door.

"Good afternoon, madam! I was looking for my comrades." That British accent, and those blue eyes were his signature features. She was in limbo, and she only had a few seconds!

She looked at those people by the table; was it a costume party?
