Cursing under your breath, you turn your back on the Aggron and awkwardly try to dash for the exit. The chains binding your legs together prevent you from breaking into a full run, so you are forced into a sort of skipping motion. You stumble outside, hearing the heavy stomps of the Aggron giving chase. Looking around, you can see that the town is in a panic, with people yelling and dashing this way and that. You see your opportunity to lose the Aggron within the chaos, so you drop onto all fours and sprint forward with all your might. You were already starving and weary from your days in the prison cell, but the adrenaline generated from the present danger allowed you to push yourself past the limits of your endurance. You wouldn't be able to keep it up for long, however, especially with the heavy metal chains binding your limbs.
Panting heavily, you break into the mob of people with the Aggron's pounding steps not far behind. You duck and swerve as you dash around the panicked citizens, hoping for the Aggron to lose sight of you. You make a sharp turn around the side of a building, and suddenly your vision starts blurring as your head begins to spin. You slow down to a halt, praying that you weren't about to faint out of fatigue. Losing consciousness here could turn out very badly. Your mind goes fuzzy and you collapse into the dirt, but shortly after your vision begins to clear as feeling slowly returns to your body. You pick yourself up off the ground and quickly glance around. There's no sign of the Aggron, so you take a slower pace as you haul your pathetic body towards the treeline of a nearby patch of woods.
You push yourself a short distance into the bushes and promptly fall down, frantically gasping for air. You lie still for a while as you slowly regain what little energy you could muster. You needed to find water and nourishment soon, or else your body might completely shut down. You also needed to find a way to remove the chains around your wrists and ankles, which would be very difficult without a tool of some sort. You briefly wonder if anyone noticed you racing through the streets and if they might be coming to find you. Nearly the entire town knew about the Zoroark girl who murdered the mayor, although you doubted that they would be able to punish you given the current state of things.
