"Oh, I won.", smiled Cindy and looked to her son. "And now I can choose what I want?", she asked him to make sure she does everything right.
Michael, feeling uncomfortable that his mother is participating on this game, nodded slowly. "Yes... Like Philipp already said, you just have to say 'I want to swap x with whoever' and then it just happens.", he explained to her.
"And x means clothes?", she asked. "No, it stands, just like in math, for everything.", corrected Philipp. "And we mean literally everything! You want to swap a clothing article? Sure. A body part, like breasts, head, feet. No problem. Something personal, like name, family or whatever? Go ahead.".
Cindy looked at Philipp with disbelieve. "Everything, huh? Riight.", she said, rasing an eyebrow. "So let's say, I would say 'I want to swap life with Anna' then this would-". She was cut off when she suddenly found herself on another seat, Anna's to be precisly. "Oh my, how did I get here?", she asked.
Anna, annoyed as always, looked at her mother. "Mom!", she said angrily. "What have you done?! Great! Just great! First I lose my beautiful legs and now I'm my own mother. Worst. Day. Ever.".
Cindy blinked confused. "You say... This really worked?", she asked, still not believing it. "It can't, can it?". Michael nodded slightly. "It does. As far as everyone except us who are participating is concerned you're Anna. Get you ID if you don't believe it.".
She stood up and entered the house and went upstairs to her bedroom where she left her purse. Her husband was away so if the kid were right he could not notice her being someone else.
She came back to the others with her ID in her hands looking disbelievingly at it. "You... You were right!", she said. "This isn't my ID anymore. It's Anna's.". She put the ID on the table. There was clearly her age displayed but it had Anna's name on it as well as her photo.
"Like we said.", said Philipp who was already mixing the cards. "Yeah. Now I'm you and you're me. Just great!", grunted Anna and leaned back in her seat and crossed her arms like she always did when she was pissed.
"Sorry.", smiled Cindy at Anna innocently. "You must know it's hard to believe.".
"Yeah, yeah, right. Let's just play, okay?", said Philipp impatiently and dealt the cards.
