I held my breath and threw as much as I could into the face of my giant opponent, who managed to inhale some of the powder through her mouth. Unfortunately however, she endured a slightly different alteration.
Desperate to escape sight, I jumped from her open hands, gliding a seemingly safe distance from the giantess and landing safely back upon the windowsill. I turned around and, to my horror, I was unable to settle the score. In fact, Poison Ivy gained an even greater advantage, growing another two feet in height. If she wanted to, she could suffocate me between her toes, that was how big she was now.
Dropping to her knees in search for me, Ivy continued to gloat. "Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot to mention. The effects of the powder are completely random. There's no telling how much you will shrink, or grow, but I think you've realized this by now. It was awfully generous of you to give the woman the advantage though."
Before she could continue any further however, she noticed me, on the windowsill, climbed back to her feet and, before I could react, swiped another blast of powder at me. I tried my best not to inhale, but I couldn't resist, the aroma was far too delectable. Before I knew it however, to my dismay, unlike my adversary, I shrunk even further. From my estimation, I couldn't no bigger than a mere three inches! Horrified by this transformation, I felt another cold shiver as my vision was clouded by the looming figure of Poison Ivy, now even bigger than ever. Compared to me, she looked even bigger than Wayne Tower!
Licking her lips while doing so, Ivy attempted to smack me with her giant palm. Just in time, I managed to dodge the crushing blow, avoiding a humiliating death, squashed under the palm of an insane woman obsessed with plants. Before she could attempt further damage however, I had little other choice but to dive out of the window and glide as far as I could into the lush garden. I landed hard on the soil, the night sky suddenly disappeared, clouded by the towering foliage. Most of the plants in the garden were three times the size of me, some of them even looked bigger than the buildings in Gotham city.
Despite being lost in what seemed like an immense jungle of a garden, there was a moment of relief, knowing that the massive, seven foot tall Poison Ivy lost track of me. Before I could regain my composure however, I heard a familiar voice echo from a distance, thundering through the garden like lightning. I could tell, from the thunder in her voice, that she was annoyed.
"Why Batman," she yelled in an ironic volume, as if she knew that I was close, "Aren't you gonna stay behind for dinner?"
