This choice: Satisfied, Ivy decided to return to her work. • Go Back... Realizing that I no longer posed a threat to her diabolical scheme, Poison Ivy made a decision. "Well then," she added, without any concern of interruption, "If you insist on hiding, I've got some things to do, but as soon as I finish, I'm going to find you, and squash you like the little bug that you are!" With that said, she returned into the cottage and resumed her plot.
She expected me to return. I knew that she realized that she would be better off letting me return to her. Realizing this, she had no intention of hunting me down in the garden. But I couldn't just hide for the rest of the night. Not at three inches tall. Not ever. I had to return and fight. The police were scheduled to arrive on the scene in less than an hour. Ivy had the only substance capable of returning me to my normal size. If the police apprehend her, they would confiscate the rare plants as evidence, leaving me here in this lush garden with no contact or direction. I would never be found. And what if Ivy escaped with the substance? She would be capable of turning Gotham city into her ant farm! Despite her tremendous advantage, I had to fight her, for the sake of Mr. Black, for the sake of the police, for the sake of Gotham city, and for the sake of my own well-being.
It was hard not to be distracted by the lush plants that loomed over me like huge trees, but I was completely awestruck by the world from my new point of view. Despite these distractions however, I trekked through the vast garden until, finally, I reached the cottage. Cautiously I crawled under the door, as silent as I had ever been before. It was a struggle, but I managed to climb onto the top shelf on the wall of the kitchen. There, I could see the giantess, Poison Ivy, sat on a wooden chair next to a table, fiddling with a dash of powder.
On the table, I noticed a potted plant, one of the plants that produced the powerful substance responsible for the whole ordeal. To my luck, I realized that, upon the shelf, I was standing next to another potted plant. Realizing that, whatever she was doing, Ivy would soon draw her attention to that very plant, I acted quickly. I climbed onto the pot and researched the plant. I discovered that the entire bud was full of the unique powder. I reached my hand in and grabbed as much as I could. With each handful, I filled a pair of empty containers from my utility belt. Turning away from the plant, I then realized that Ivy had left the table.
For a moment, I lost sight of Ivy, until she suddenly popped her head from beneath my view, my vision was impaired by the immense size of her glamorous face. "There you are," she sighed, "I knew you couldn't resist me, little bat!" I could see, from her gleaming eyes, that she had dreadful intentions for me. She smirked, and raised her hand in an attempt to grab me once again, her hand now even larger than I remembered, but before she could, I released one of my containers and blasted it in her face. | Members who added to this interactive story also contributed to these: |
