Batman didn’t exspect the ground to break way from under him or how quickly he fell.
Trying to stop his descent Batman would go for his grappling gun, but by the time he grabbed it the cavern had changed into pure space surrounded by a massive spider web.
Batman would continue to fall, and the web would consume him completely. Finally as everything became black and Batman let out a yell.
A woman’s scream would wake Batman from his nightmare.
He let out a breath of relief until he realized he was in one of the Asylum’s cell and that he couldn’t move his arms.
He looked down and saw that he was wearing a straitjacket.
“What happened?”Batman asked as he looked around the cell.
Batman decided his top priority would be escape. If the inmates had taken over then he would be in for a lot of trouble.
He struggled against the straitjacket, but despite his years of escape training he could get out.
He saw two guards pass by he tried to get to his feet to find out what happened, but they kept walking.
He then heard their voices as they went down the hall.
“So that the chick that think she’s Batman?”
“Yeah. We get a lot of crazies, but she might take the cake.”
“I heard she went on a rampage in the common room.”
“I wouldn’t call it a rampage. She attacked Mad Hatter and it started a riot. That why she’s in that straitjacket.”
“She’s kind of cute.”
“She’s alright I guess. She ain’t no Harley Quinn or Poison Ivy, but she’s alright if you’re into crazy chicks.”
Batman took a deep breath as he grew concerned. He knew he had not reason to be, but still he had to confirm it to himself.
He got off the bed and slowly walked to the mirror over the cell’s toilet.
There Batman was face to face with the reflection of a petite woman half his age with uncontrollable curly black hair and a cute face.
