This choice: Batman & Catwoman Wake Up The Next Morning In Each Other's Bodiss • Go Back... Ack! Batman shouted as the artifact clouded his vision. He stood in a defensive stance, thinking maybe Catwoman had used a flash grenade on him to escape. He prepared to counter any attack she could throw at him, however as his vision adjusted he saw Catwoman had been affected just the same. Batman looked around for the cause of the disturbance when his eyes wandered back across to the diamond. “This must have created that flash that stunned us,” he thought to himself. “I better bring this back to the Batcave for analysis, something isn’t right here…” he leaned over to pick up the cat shaped jewel before Catwoman attempted to kick him in the mouth and run away with her prize, but Batman was faster and he caught her foot in mid air. “Can’t a kitty have a little fun just this once?” Cat woman teased as she clawed Batman’s face and made a grab for the jewel. Batman again stopped her and pushed her away. “You’re done Selina.” He growled. “You were too cocky, and now you are going to pay the price.” Selina paused for a moment, thinking over her options, and then bolted away across the rooftops. “Wait!” Batman shouted. Selina looked behind her and smirked before jumping off a nearby rooftop into the drowning abyss of Gotham’s underbelly. Batman was tempted to chase after her, but he felt something strange about the cat-shaped diamond in his hand. It was calling to him, but it felt like an altered version of him. The vibrations traveling through his mind were hypnotizing as he slowly lost parts of himself to the mystical drone of the crystal. He turned back to the roof Catwoman jumped off of. It was too late to start chasing her now, he might as well travel to the Batcave and uncover what this gem really is.
On his way to the Batcave, all Bruce could think about was the diamond sharing his space in the Batwing. When he finally arrived he encountered a startled Alfred. “Back so soon, master Bruce? I had thought you’d be out all night, per the usual.” Batman set the cat shaped diamond on a table in his lab, replying “Not happy to see me, Alfred?” As he did so. “No no Master Bruce, it is actually quite wonderful to have you home so early. We might actually have time for you to finish your dinner.” “No time Alfred. I brought back an artifact stolen by Catwoman tonight from the Gotham City Museum. When we touched it, it made some strange glow that blinded both of us, and I intend to figure out what happened.” Alfred looked disappointed. “Oh dear. Well, should you change your mind about dinner I should be up in the manor, cleaning or what-have-you I suppose.” “Thanks Alfred. Batman said as he began researching the gem.
Later that night Bruce had been feeling especially worn out. He had been able to find out that this diamond was some type of Egyptian totem meant to worship a Goddess with strange powers, such as “spiritual tampering” and “adjustments in ones inner fate”. Other than that, not much was know about the artifact other than the fact that it would apparently mysteriously vanish from one place to- wait. Where was it? Bruce had sworn he had left it on this table right next to him, but now he can’t find it. He looked all over and eventually went up to check the security tapes in the Batcave, this is the point where he realized how tired he had become as he lethargically moved his drowsy body up to the bat computer, he sat down in the chair, which was-so, comfortable… he looked for the security tapes on the Batcomputer, but no sooner had he found them had slept crept up onto him…
Bruce had slowly woken up from his deep sleep in a more comfortable position than he had been in before, namely being on a bed rather than a chair. He had assumed Alfred had just moved him up into the manor, but something wasn’t quite right, the smell was off, and there was the buzz of… soft purring all around him? He slowly got up and felt dizzy looking around. This didn’t look like a room in the manor, this looked like an apartment room in the poorer districts of Gotham. There were cats and cat related ornaments lining the room, which was strange because both he and Alfred had been more of dog people. Batman was still trying to figure out where he was when he noticed his hands were smaller and daintier than they used to be, with long black fingernails. He examined the rest of his body and he stood cold in the disbelief that he was inside a human he should not be in. He was wearing a black gown, that exemplified enormous breast that he was just now realizing were there. He got up from his bed and his slender and light body threw him off balance. He attempted to walk only to find his legs rubbing against a softer area of his body right were his penis used to be. He looked in a dresser mirror and back at him stared a gorgeous woman with short black hair, shimmering emerald eyes, makeup that would make the Joker jealous and cat shaped ear rings to top it off. He stood there, examining, half frightened and half intrigued at what he was looking at. This woman, she seemed familiar, but Bruce was so shocked that he could barely think to remember who she was. Then he started piecing it together. The cats, the slender body, the ear rings, the face. He was inside the body of Selina Kyle, A.K.A, the Catwoman.
Selina woke up with a soaring headache. Last night had been rough losing the piece she needed, the run-in with Batman, and to top it off coming home to an eviction notice from her apartment. She opened her eyes to a blaring monitor with tons of information and numbers speeding past the screen. This was too expensive to be hers, she put up a hand to shield her eyes and noticed a brawny bruised slab follow her orders, she gasped, shocked, and out of her mouth came a deep, grizzly voice. She looked down and looked shocked at the physique of an athlete below her. Taking off the white tank top covering the bodies chest, She saw she had bruises all over her new body, but muscles where she had never seen them be before. She looked down and saw a massive bulge from her pants, and suddenly felt the tight underwear pressing against it. She hesitated to check downstairs, before she heard a old British sounding voice come from behind her. “Ah, Master Bruce, your up.” She turned around shocked and punched the tray of food Alfred was holding across the room. She gawked at her own strength, and Alfred stood there, shocked. “M-master Bruce. My apologies had I caught you off guard. Are you alright, sir? Selina stood there looking confused in her new body, she stepped back and bumped into the Batcomputer, and looking closer she saw the sigil of a bat carved into it. “Oh haha, very funny. Is this supposed to be some kind of payback for last night or what?” Selina shouted into the consuming darkness of the Batcave. “Master Bruce, are you feeling alright?” Alfred said worriedly. “Alright old man, enough is enough. I know this is some little game Batman has planed for me and I’m really not feeling it right now, so, whatever this is, just stop it.” Selina stated back. Alfred paused. “Sir, I really do mean it when I ask are you feeling ok. do you need me to get you anything?” “Yes actually, I do, if you could get me Batman so we can get this over with that would be nice. Alfred hesitated again. “Master Bruce, sir, you ARE Batman.” Selina sighed. “Look, I said I’m not playing your silly little gameshow, can I just get my body back somehow and leave?” Alfred was getting very concerned. “Sir, please, sit down. Do you remember anything that happened last night?” “Oh is that it, you want me to spill it all to you, huh. Not gonna happen. I’m not saying anything until you get me out of this mess.” Alfred thinks for a moment, worried that Bruce has a coma. “Sir, do you not remember fighting crime every night? Di you not remember being batman?” “Oh I remember Batman all right, he’s the one who’s got me into this mess! What? You stick me in some cave and put me in some robot designed to look like a tough guy and expect me to believe I’m Batman now? Great. Well I know Batman, and if this were really him, then-“ Selina stopped herself. She had examined her face, knowing that she had scratched Batman last night in the cheek in their scuffle for the diamond, and sure enough, right where her hand was, there was a cut. She looked around. Bat costumes, Bat dinosaurs, Bat computers, hell even the Batmobile was in here. This was either the most expensive game show ever made or Catwoman really was stuck in Batmans body!
Now that our heroes are having an out of body identity crisis, who will we be viewing next? The bat brought down to smell the flowers, are the cat that’s made it rich under a mansion? That’s up for you to decide! indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
