After the flash of light, the two were knocked to the opposite sides of the building. Batman (now in catwoman's body) slowly got up from where he had fallen and he observed catwoman (in Batman's body) slowly do the same. It seems that Batman had just now realized that he wasn't himself at the moment, which was mire clearly seen as he looked down to see his new...appendages.
Catwoman was also now noticing newer changes as she looked down to see herself in the dark broodish clothing if Batman. They look at eachither and, wisely, stayed silent and just stared accusingly at eachother, then one if the worst possible things happened, the alarms started ringing. They knew they didn't have enough time to finish this fight, but they did have enough time to talk quickly as they established a meeting point to discuss this later, Catwoman told Batman where her hideout was unlike Batman who yold her the location of a spare unused batcave, not the real one.
They then bounded out just as James Gordon arrived on the scene with two other cop cars rolled in and ran up the stairs to find, broken glass, signs of struggle.... and one missing priceless diamond.
