You walk down the stairs into the basement and you see a door marked ENVIROOM. CARA opens the door and shoves you into the room. It's dark and you can't even see your own body. Suddenly you hear beeping and you see green lines appear on the walls. It kind of looks like a holodeck from Star Trek. Then the light flashes and it blinds you for a second. You fall back and land on grass?
"What the hell?"
"Sara, limit your profanities, it is not ladylike" you can hear CARA say.
"Where am I?" you say looking around and see a park, like the one that was a few blocks away from your house when you were a kid. Sara's favorite place to go.
"This is the park that was programmed in from your memories. You can explore the park only. If you attempt to leave the confines of the part the simulation will shut down." CARA says.
"Well, okay." you say and decide to enjoy yourself.
You walk around the park, lay in the grass and look at the clouds, you have the best time. It doesn't feel like that much time had passed but you notice that the "sun" was setting. The room shuts down and you hear a clunk. The door opens and CARA is in the doorway
"Did you enjoy yourself Sara? It has been approximately 4 hours since you entered the room. It is time for dinner.' CARA says.
"Oh okay" you say, you did like being in that park again, despite the way you were dressed. You walk upstairs and walk into the dining room. There is a covered platter set up. You sit down and CARA comes over and pulls the cover off. The food is spaghetti and meatballs, Sara's favorite meal. You were a bit neutral to it.
"Well Sara, enjoy your dinner. After dinner make your way back to your room for your after-dinner activities."
"Yep, got it CARA. Will do." you say as CARA leaves the room. You get up and walk to the phone on the wall. You dial your sister's cell phone number.
You hear ringing and then you hear, "Hi it's Sara, I probably don't have my phone on so leave a message and I'll get back to you. Bye!" you respond with "Hey Sara, it's Tom, I have a bit of issue with your house, so call me back when you get a chance. Bye."
Okay, so asking her for some sort of passcode is out of the question. You like the nostalgia of the day and it was nice to see that park again, but you would rather be yourself and not Sara. But you decide to sit down and eat, you were kind of hungry...
