You head to the basement, very aware of the air touching your shaven legs. The first thing you notice about the basement is how open and dim it is. There are no pieces of furniture, just white walls, a floor and something small and kind of hard to make out attached to the center of the ceiling. The object is cylindrical and you jump a bit when it starts to spin. Tiny lights along it's length turn on as it spins, projecting lines along all of the surfaces as well as yourself. A light humming sound can be heard coming from the object as it turns faster and the lights grow brighter. Its hard to look away as you stare into the shinning thing but you grow anxious. Everything is becoming more pronounced: the spinning, the humming, the lights. You feel a building tension, similar to the feeling of dread you get while filling a balloon with more and more air. Then the proverbial balloon pops.
There is a sudden flash of white and you hear a voice, not much different form Cara's.

As the light fades, you feel a bit dizzy and notice pressure centered on your middle which is making it a bit difficult to breathe. You take a shallow breath and smell...the ocean? Your eyes open and you are shocked to see the deck of large boat with clear blue sky above you.
