"I see. It is such as the ancient stories tell. For a long time ago a great seer has predicted a wise and strong sage coming from another world to defeat the darkness", the voice says as you choose to become a sage.
But now you want to know what this is all about. So you ask that voice to give you more information about your situation and what is meant with defeating the dark.
So the voice continues "This world is called Farliance. There are many species living in this world, such as humans, elves, dwarves, beast humans, angels, demons and other ones. For a long period of thime these species have lived together in peace and mutual respect. But after a sleep of 10,000 years the unimaginable evil, Crelus the king of chaos finaly has awaken in order to slave all species and to bring destruction all over the world. In the ancient times a hero summoned from another world has been able to defeat Crelus but not to destroy him. So the hero has decided to seal him in the depths of our world. Afterwards the glorious hero has disappeared and never has been seen again. As the world is threatened again by chaos and the destructive plans of Crelus we the light wizards have decided to summon a new hero from another world to save us. You are this hero. Your mission is to defeat Crelus and to bring back peace to our world".
That is kind of weird. You are sure just to be a normal human with an average life. You don´t have special skills and you aren´t strong or sporty after all. So why should you be able to safe anyone? As you tell the voice about your worries it starts to laugh out loud and says "Donßt worry about. We haven´t searched for the stronges warrior, a genius or anything like that. We have searched for a person with true courage, a compassionate heart and the will to stand up against injustice and evil".
But you certainly don´t have these qualities after all. You consider yourself a coward and have not stood up for others anytime before. But the voice only comments this with "Be sure having these qualities. Even if you´re not aware of them at the moment, they will emerge from the depths of your heart as your journey progresses".
Still a bit disbelieving about your qualification, you ask the voice what the power of a sage you have chosen is alla bout. So the voice now says:
"A sage is a high ranked wizard. A wizard only is able to master one magic attribute. A sage instead is able to master all magic attributes. There are existing 6 magic attributes after all, fire, water, earth, wind, light and darkness. The first four are the elements of the physical world. If you master them you are able to control and even to summon the elements in order to use magical skills to attack enemies or to use as armor. Light and darkness are the elements of the mentional world. For example light magic is able to heal wounds and to cure a abnormal status or to strengthen the status of your allies. Dark magic instead is able to bring pain, cause confusion or to weaken your enemies. But there are even more effects which light and dark magic could have. As you have chosen to be a sage, you will be able to master any kind of magic. But at the beginning you can only use magic out of one element. With enought practise your magic skills will inrease in time so you will be able to master more powerful magic skills and other elements. I give you the chance to chose your first magic element".
