Putting a finger to his chin, Homer thought quickly. "Well, I guess we can go back to my place. As I said, there is nobody around, so we'll have plenty of privacy. I mean, I don't mind being a big fatty and all but, I'd rather not have everyone staring at me... any more than they usually do."
Mac's eye's lit up slightly, a smile growing on his face. "Sounds great Homer. My car out front in the staff parking. I'll meet you outside and I'll follow you back to your place."
"Sounds fine to me Mac, I'll catch you in a while."
A couple of minutes later, the two arrive back on Evergreen Terrace. After showing Mac in, Homer drew the curtains in the dining room and showed him into the kitchen.
"Well Homer, I see you got plenty off food already in this fine house of yours. If your trying to fatten off just sweets, then I can see your problem".
"What do you mean problem, I can eat loads of candy without breaking a sweat!" Mac just shook his head.
"No no, I'm sure you can pack plenty of goodies away in that belly of your's. No, what I'm talking about is diversifying your choice of foods. Have you heard about the neglected food groups?" Homer nodded, remembering his encounter with the questionable Doctor Nick.
"You see, your mainly hitting up the empty calorie and chocotastic groups. To bulk up faster, you need to try and hit a wider range, stuff with a lot more grease and fats than sugar. Of course, that is also neglecting supplements too."
"Supplements, you mean like protein powder?"
"Kinda Homer. Though this is specifically for people wanting to get fat. Has lots of calories, and can cause even the thinnest guy to bloat up quick." Looking across at Homer, Mac got a small idea. "I just thought of something. How about I write up a rough meal plan for you. Just some ideas for each meal and every snack. Meal times, you want to focus on the fat heavy foods. Stuff like Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, Burgers, Pizza, Fondue, Greasy Meats like Bacon and Sausage."
"What about in between meals?"
"Ah you see, that's when you have your candy and chocolate. You always want something to hand that you can mindlessly snack on when watching TV, or whatever. it won't fill you up, but that's the point. You never really want to stuff yourself to the point of illness. You want to be at least sated all day, and only really at meals do you want to really fill up on all the calorie dense foods. Breads, Meats, Dairy and Sweets are your friends in this."
"Sounds good to me, guess I better get started!" Homer exclaimed, matching over too the fridge, pulling out a heap of ingredients. Setting them on the side, he turned back to Mac. "By the end of October, I'm going to be a big fat dynamo!"
"That's the spirit Homer. I'd better get going, I've got to be back on shift in 20 minutes or so. Don't worry, you've got a little over a month to submit that picture. If you can put on 20 lbs without my help, I'm sure you can easily put that much on in only a fraction of the time". With that, Mac excused himself, going out the door, heading back to his car.
