1. The Future Fry woke up to was one where men made up a tiny portion of the population, and by the year 3000 the human population was 98% women. Where he was awoken to help keep the population up by sleeping with as many women as possible...or at least, he thinks thats what will happen.
2. Leela finds out she isn't a mutant. She really 'is' an alien who was taken in my mutants who attempted to raise her before realizing she had a chance to live above ground.
3. Fry got the super worms before getting frozen. Where the worms managed to stay unfrozen, and once they were able to adapt to a frozen environment to live and thrive in, spent a thousand years upgrading their 'universe' and by the time it was 2999...well, we know what Fry became after a few days with the worms....what would he be after a thousand years of constant improvement?
4. Fry's career chip aptitude malfunctions. Giving him a career he's in no way qualified for.
