Jenna did her best to hide her wincing as she tried to keep up with her energetic daughter. Bless Tim she thought. These heels were such a sweet gift and it showed he still had that eye for noticing her wistful gaze through shop windows but the size was ever so slightly too small and cramped and the heel height! She wondered how she ever could wear such high heels in her younger, partying days.
She headed out onto the porch, internally cursing her young daughters energy and the shiny ruby red hell shoes already making her feet clammy ontop of agonizing before she stopped.
She swore she could feel a little thing pop under the pressure of her left shoe. Begrudgingly, she pulled back her lower leg and grabbed the ankle to look over new left shoe. Bug guts was the last thing she needed to deal with if she was to return these for a slightly larger size pair. Her eyes scanned a triangular area as shocking red as the rest of the footwear to find nothing.
"Moooommmyyyyyy!"
Jenna put her foot back on the floor.
"Coming, sweetie!"
Must have been my imagination, she thought as she got in the car.
