She blows work off

"Screw that," Erika says to herself, "If she's snooping through my life, I'm not doing her any favors." She goes to the kitchen and grabs your mom's phone, calling work. "It's me. I'm not coming in today. Get a sub," Erika hangs up the phone. She called in. Good enough. With work obligations taken care of, your sister heads up to her bedroom. Cranking up the music, pulling out a magazine, Erika is content to take advantage of her day off, by... Doing the same stuff she always does.
