"I'm not human."

"Not human? This is no time for a joke, now lets swap back, while we still can!" Mark begged as he got up off the floor.

"I'm not joking, sure that body may appear human but I'm not... There's a reason I showed interest in you Mark, it's because of the device you invented when you were Luke's age. The body swap machine. It's a shame you went and destroyed it, luckily for me though, our son was able to make another one. I know if I gave your body back now, you'd just destroy this machine like you did the last one."

"So you just wanted me for my inventions? Is that why you've always encouraged Luke?" Mark asked. "Why you let him use Erika the way he does."

"Of course, my species doesn't care for its young unless they are productive. Erika's is useful as Luke's guinea pig. I recall even suggesting he use her as a test subject when he invented his first device. Kyle has his own usefulness too, he might not invent things like Luke but he often leads to Luke making better devices or finds better uses than Luke ever intended. Everyone has their purpose, yours was to invent things, but since you stopped doing that, it was to give me children and be their primary care taker. My purpose was to raise those children into something of use, while also sabotaging the human race's next generation. Now that I'm you, my purpose is now to create more intelligent offspring and your purpose is now nothing."

"What are you?" Mark asked, preparing for a fight with his old body, sadly this wasn't the first time.
