As much as society shunned them, and as horrific as their crimes were, just about all of the prisoners unfortunate enough to end up at the facility were local or city menaces at best, covering all of the colors of the usual crime spectrum: sexual predators who cared for nothing but their continued pleasure behind some back alleyway, teens who managed to push their emotional harassment just a bit too far for anyone, murderers who lost themselves long ago, and people who never had a chance or hope of ending up anywhere other than prison or worse (a not-so-rare kind).
The fugitives we are focusing on now were different. For reasons known only to the local government and away from the prying eyes of the public, the two boys (who were once known and shall now be addressed as Danny and Franz) were put in maximum security cells bordering on the level of those used Supermax prisons, labeled with two damning signs:
"Enemies of the State"
and
"Potential Enemies of the Nation"
How exactly did these two unassuming boys get out in the first place?
