A group of superheroes were battling the super villain team known as the Serpent Society. These heroes were Colonel America, Iron Man, Thor, the Bumblebee, Wolverine, and Spider-Man. The team were fighting off the snake themed villains and trying to protect the innocent civilians in the area, when Colonel America began barking orders.
“Alright Avengers, let’s finish these guys up before the fight gets out of hand.” the Colonel stated before slamming his shield into one of the Society’s faces.
“These guys are the Avengers?” Mary Jane questioned the groups name. The name definitely belonged to a superhero team, but these guys felt slightly off. Their was never a bumblebee superhero, or was there?
“Come on Steve, these guys are second rate, we’re the Avengers for gods-sake.” Spider-Man said nonchalantly, webbing another member up. Hearing the name Spider-Man out loud hit MJ hard, and triggered a memory. She remembered Spider-Man taking his mask off and seeing his face, and it was a familiar one.
“Peter!” Mary Jane yelled out into the battlefield. Spider-Man looked back at her, and even through the mask MJ senses confusion. Spider-Man leapt toward her on a web line and swung her up to the top of a nearby building. Spider-Man let the fat woman go, as MJ had to readjust her glasses.
“I have so many questions, such as how you know my real name, but my biggest question is why do you look so familiar.” Spider-Man asked. Upon further examination, MJ noticed differences in his suit than the one she knew. It look unfinished and the eyes were yellow instead of white.
“I think the world is really messed up Pete. I’m not supposed to be this fat, and I know we know each other.” Mary Jane asked while pulling Peter’s mask off, revealing the same face she knew would be under the mask. His face showed signs of confusion, and he ultimately...
