She understood that two of a kind was not too bad and should be kept. She was about to show what she had on her hand when it occurred to her that the others did not show her cards. And she hated losing, especially in a row.
None of the others kept more than two cards. That made the girl's heart leap. She might win the next round then. When Kaylee picked up her three cards she whistled briefly. Tanya smacked her on her shoulder and said "Gee, don't brag." But she had misread the signal. When Zoe (three jacks) and Tanya (a pair of kings) casually dropped their cards Kaylee lowered them, cursing that she not nothing than a poor pair of Threes. "I won, I won, I won" Amanda jumped from her seat on the ground, wiggled her pair of nines so close to the eyes of Zoe that she pulled her head back hastily to keep her nose from being targeted by playing cards gone wild. Now Amanda was dancing around, her bare feet made cute sound on the wooden floor.
"Ok Ok, stop that, will you." Her sister was visibly annoyed. She pulled the laces of her tennis shoes and launched the shoes over her shoulder.
"Jacobson family today in clothes shedding mode." Zoe chuckled. New cards were dealt. Amanda hat a pair of queens, one of them spades, and four other spades as well. Confused she looked at her cards.
Amanda Jacobson: baby Nikes, socks, choker, overalls, t-shirt, panties.
Kaylee Jacobson: white tennis shoes, socks, a white outer blouse, a light pink under-blouse, a pair of stylish slim cut jeans, black lace bra, black lace panties.
Zoe Adams: high heeled shoes, black stockings, silk button-up shirt, a knee-length black skirt, hot pink bra, hot pink thong.
Tanya Jackson: fur-lined boots, athletic socks, white jacket, sleeveless purple shirt, form fitting jeans, purple bra, purple panties.
Carmen Valdez: tennis shoes, socks, red sweater, white cotton tanktop, jeans, red bra, red panties.
