"Well... Shit. Guess that was inevitable. Still, I've got more for my now fat ass to tear out of..." Sam said, more quietly than usual. At that, she turned away from Alice, staying silent for a few moments- very uncharacteristic of the usually loud girl. Alice, unsure of what to do, stood there awkwardly until Sam whipped back around, apparently back to normal, now clenching her coat. "Say, you've never been to my room! You wanna, uh... Come over?" Alice, taken aback by the sudden request, just stood silent for a moment. "Well, come on then? Can't stand here in my ripped panties forever, ya' know?"
Alice just nodded her head yes, a giant grin breaking out on her face. "O-oh, yes, I would love to, Sam, I-" Alice began to ramble, smiling like nobodies business: sure, Sam and her had been getting closer, but Sam was actually reaching out! Inwardly, Alice reflected that two months ago this would have scared her, made her stutter and shake, but now she barely felt any inhibition at all at the prospect of going over to someone else's room.
"Oh, don't ruin it by bein' all mushy and shit, just come on." Sam said with a roll of her arms, locking her arm around Alice's and leading her to the door. "Damn, I gotta say, this outfit is fuckin' awesome. I can actually breathe, and my tits don't feel all smushed." Sam rambled as Alice followed behind her, blushing. "And heeeere we are, my humble abode, the one and only, Sam's room!" Sam flung open the door triumphantly, leading Alice inside. If Alice had tried to guess what Sam's room would be decorated with, she would've been incorrect. Due to Sam's outwardly crass nature, Alice had imagined all sorts of horrible things- posters with gory monsters, plastic figurines of impaled monsters- Alice's imagination tended to run away sometimes. However, she was pleasantly surprised to find Sam's room a bit more colorful than she had expected- various posters of what Alice assumed to be popular bands, though none of them looked overly scary. She paused to inspect one on the wall, a band called Mindless Self Indulgence. Bright neon pink and purple adorned the poster, surround who she assumed to the the band, and although they wore mostly black, they seemed quite harmless... Alice was pretty clueless.
"Oh, come on, let's hang out over here!" Sam called her over to the couch, where Sam had plopped down. Sam stared at her feet for a bit, before looking at Alice, a strange look on her face. "You know, I uh... Fuck, I'm bad at this stuff... Look, I give you a hard time and shit sometimes, but I uh... I really care about you. You know? And if you tell anyone I swear I'll punch you." As soon as she finished, Sam stared directly down into her pudgy lap, and Alice could tell right away that she was blushing profusely.
"Um... Your secret is safe with me? You know... You don't have to be embarrassed of being friendly towards someone... My Mom always told me that-"
"Ugh, that's not what I fuckin' meant! I mean, I just..." And at that, Sam went quiet again.
Alice sat there, struggling to think of what to say, until...
