Samantha and her parents were going to a park for a picnic later in the day, along with other relatives, some of which were coming to her house to visit first. One of them was her cousin Candace, who was a prankster. Unlike Samantha, Candace loved April Fools’ Day. Samantha knew she’d have to watch her back with her around.
She put on her robe and went to take a shower before everyone arrived. As she did that, she failed to hear the sound of the bathroom door opening. It was Candace. She came in and then left after a few seconds without Samantha realizing. When she stepped out the shower a few minutes later, she first noticed that all the towels were gone. Then she looked over at where she had left her robe, only to see that it was gone too.
“Candace!” she thought.
Her relatives had gotten to her house a lot sooner than she thought, and now she was wet and naked in the bathroom. Samantha opened the door and stuck her head out. There was no one in the hall. All the doors were closed. She figured everyone was downstairs.
“Everything’s going to be okay,” she thought.
Samantha ran to her bedroom door, only to find it locked.
“No!”
She then went to her parents’ bedroom. That door was locked too. It was all Candace’s doing. Samantha had nothing to wear and she could hear her family downstairs. She didn’t know what to do next.
