“yes sir, I can hear you,” came Bob’s voice through the radio followed by loud gurgles from Kennedy’s stomach.
BURRRRP. Kennedy burped right in the commanding officers face and smiled with a look of food-induced contentment. She then rolled to her side and started rubbing her massive belly. The commander and the other rookie ran to stand in front of her belly while continuing to communicate with Bob.
“I think I’ve found him sir,” said Bob
“Oh god! We’re in a belly! We’re gonna die!” screamed the former thief.
“Yup it’s him sir,” sighed Bob.
“Thanks Bob, that’s all we need,” the commander sighed, it was really a pointless rule that they had to check the identities in person, and all that was required was for the officer in the stomach to say, “yup that’s the guy.”
Kennedy sat up and folded her legs and looked at the two remaining cops. “Thank you,” she said with a sadistic smile.
“Okay Kennedy,” sighed the commander, “I already know your answer but I have to ask because of protocol. The police department would greatly appreciate you coughing up our officer, but we do acknowledge your right not to have to cough up food. What would you like to do?”
“Hmm,” Kennedy feigned consideration, “I think I’m going to have to keep him in here,” she patted her belly.
“Very well. Well then have a good day Kennedy.”
“Are you sure you don’t need another checker,” she plucked up the other rookie, “this one looks tasty too.” Kennedy proceeded to lick her lips. The commander considered his options…
