It was nightmare night again and the princess of the moon enjoyed herself immensely. She decided to spend the night in Ponyville again and was currently playing her favortie party game, toss the spider. One thing has always puzzled her though. Why in the name of everything good and decent would the ponies create a holiday tradition where the colts and fillies would get eaten if they didn't bring her candy?
Luna sighed, culture can sure change in a thousand years. As she heard a loud splat nearby she saw a perfect example for this. A thousand years ago nopony would ever have dreamed of wasting perfectly good pumpkins for a silly little game. It was getting late and some ponies have already gone home.
