This choice: Talk with one of her close friends • Go Back...Chapter #5Talk with one of her close friends by: Unknown Rainbow went back into Sugarcube Corner, and found the others where she left them. She was mulling over which one she'd tell. Not Rarity, she'd overreact. Not Pinkie Pie, she'd tell everyone in Ponyville before the sun finished setting. Fluttershy could be counted on to stay quiet, but she might not understand, and take it the wrong way. For a while, Rainbow considered telling Applejack, But once again, there was a reason she couldn't. That was that she secretly loved applejack... more than usual, and she was afraid that if she told Applejack about this fettish, there'd be no chance on her ever being able to confide in her on her feelings. So, that leaves just Twilight. She could be counted on to be discreet, and might even know something to help. "Rainbow? Anybody home?" Applejack was looking at her, as though expecting a reply.
"Sorry. What was that, Applejack? I was lost in thought" said Rainbow Dash. "Iah was just sayin' that me and the other girls were gonna go to the farm, and hang out, and Iah was wonderin' if ya'd like teh come."
"Oh, sorry Applejack. I can't. But I would like to speak with you, Twilight. In private" Said Rainbow. "Sure, Rainbow. Uh, girls, I'll catch up with you later." Said Twilight. "C'mon. Let's go to the Library. Spike has gone to do some errends for me in Canterlot, and I'm not expecting him back for another couple days."
So Twilight and Rainbow Dash head to the Library, On the way there, Rainbow was starting to get really nervous about the looming conversation that was to be had. So nervous, that Twilight noticed. "Rainbow, are you feeling alright? You look worried." Twilight said. "Who? Me? Nah. I'm not worried. You know me. I'm always cool." Rainbow replies. But Twilight shoots her a look. "You're not a very good liar, Rainbow." She said. "Is it to do with your feelings for Applejack?" Twilight was the only pony that Rainbow Dash had confided in her about feelings. "No. It's not that.... Let's wait until it's inside. This conversation is best had behind closed doors." Rainbow said. "Uhh, okay." replied Twilight. And they continued to the library in silence.
When they get there, does Rainbow chicken out, or tell Twilight?  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
