The alien beam that hit her mother caused her to grow to about 25 feet tall originally, however, the stresses of a cheating husband caused her condition to worsen and accelerate, putting her at about 50 feet tall. After a fight with the National Guard attack choppers, she fell onto a power line, husband grasped firmly in her hand. The UFO that zapped her earlier comes to her aid and teleports her on board. After a few years floating in the UFO with her the two somehow figure out how to have sex with each other and a healthy daughter is born. She grew and developed normally until her 18th birthday, then her mother's latent genes kicked in...
