Quickly you grab the bag and hide it on the far side of the furnace where you were tempering some swords. You grab one of your hammers and walk to the door hearing three more pounds on the door seeming to show frustration from whoever was on the other side of it. You get to the door and say “i hear you....one minute.”
you open the door and see two shady looking thugs one really scraggly with a dirty smile and a rat like complex. The other was a tank of a man wearing a dirty shirt and vest combo that looked like they were barely containing his muscles he silently stared down at you.
Finally the scraggly thug laughs a little and says “Ello boy, we are looking for someone and my friend and me could have sworn seeing 'im come in 'ere not to long ago.”
you say “that can't be possible I have been working in my uncles shop all day I would have seen anyone come in....that is if the door was unlocked.”
the thug sighs and says “about that, whats a fine e-stablishment such as this doing locked during the day?”
you say “ Orders have been piling up lately and I need to work undisturbed until I get them done.”
The scraggly thug starts laughing and says “ well what a coincidence my buddy bruce 'ere 'as been looking for someone to get some blacksmithing done and well we are 'ere so why don't you show 'im some nice service and 'ook 'im up with something?”
you knew what he was trying to do and were getting worried they would try something but say “as I said I am really busy I better get back to work before I get more behind.” getting ready to close the door you hear the scraggly thug say “non-sense you wouldn't turn down business that is practically throwing themselves would you.” at this point they push their way in.
once in they begin looking around. They start walking around looking everywhere and you say “if you insist like this why don't you tell me what you are looking for bruce?”
again you hear the scraggly thug laugh and say “well bruce doesn't talk much so if he sees something 'e likes 'e will let you know. But until than why don't you get back to work; I mean you are busy after all and we don't want to be a 'inderince to you.” you could tell he was just being sarcastic with the last bit but saw your chance to guard the bag.
So you walk back to the furnace and get to work while being aware of what your two guests are doing.
