That could work

Watching Naruto train from inside the cage, Kurama felt disgusted. "Damn that Yondaime! Sealing me inside his and that redhead she-devil spawn!"

Clicking his claws down in annoyance, she tried thinking of ways to escape, but to no avail. "GRRRRRR! No matter what I'll do to try and escape, this blasted seal will just keep me and the boy linked ... WAIT A MINUTE! Just because we remain linked, doesn't mean its impossible for escape. I just have to "turn" the brat's way of thinking!"

Grinning as her plan came to mind, Kurama began channeling her chakra through the seal, exploiting the fact that seal was meant to absorb her chakra.

Outside the training ground
Naruto was creating more shadow clones to work on control, when he felt his chakra fluxuate. He began to panic as red chakra began to form a chaotic aura around him.

"Oh crap!" he muttered as it began to burn in intensity. Naruto let loose a cry as his insides felt like they were on fire, and blacked out.

When he wakes up ...
