This choice: follow Ameno (merge chapters) • Go Back... Having finally recovered from the splitting headache, Naruto frees himself from his former teammates.
"Ameno, are you alright?" Koji asks
"Guy's, I'm not Ameno anymore. Name is Naruto Uzumaki." Naruto replies
Seeing his two former teammates about to attack Naruto tries to placate them. "Relax, please, I'm still in a way Ameno, the Naruto Uzumaki of konoha memories right now are the dominate ones. There was a love finding jutsu meant to find one's true love and I think it misfired. Right now I think I'm Naruto and I'm fairly certain the original Naruto thinks she is me. Lets get back to Suna and inform Gaara of this and we can decide where to go from there." Naruto says
Realizing that deep down Ameno was still inside her new male shell, the altered team race back to Suna. It only takes them fifteen minutes to get back to the walls surrounding Suna but the group doesn't wait booking it straight to the Kazekage tower. Getting stopped by the secretary, the group finally gets permission to see Gaara.
Opening the door to the Kazekage's office, team Amino stand before Gaara.
"Team Amino, can you explain to me where Amino is and why Naruto Uzumaki is with you?" Gaara calmly asks
"Gaara, I used to be Amino. Sakura back in Konoha activated a jutsu made to help people find their true self. I imagine that the original Naruto is now myself back in Konoha." Naruto says
"If you are Amino, how would you know this?" Gaara questions
"I have all of my, being Naruto Uzumaki's, memories. They seem to be overshadowing my own Ameno's memories." Naruto states
"Can you two vouch for this?" Gaara asks
"Yes Kazekage-sama, she, he, transformed right in front of us." Shishio replies right as a messenger bird from Konoha taps on the window. Opening the window and letting the bird in, Gaara calmly grabs the note attached to the birds back.
"Um Ameno. Naruto, it appears you were right in your assumption, your former self is in Konoha. Guard, tell Temari she is in charge until I get back, the four of us need to leave now." Gaara orders
"Yes sir, Kazekage-sama!" The guard salutes before leaving in a swirl of sand.
Beckoning the three to follow him outside, Gaara makes a platform of sand beneath their feet as Gaara commands it to the air as they take off to Konoha.
