Most importantly thing I want you to remember is that I love you.” Eric kissed his wife passionately before leaving her with lingering worry. While Eric lived in the moment excited at the prospects of the new adventure.
The barbarian picked a swift horse from his livestock to swiftly carry him on his journey. He no felt the wolverine spirits anger drawing him to blood. Eric visited the trolls cavern a notorious bar that fellow adventurers often frequented. When one of the patrons bumped him causing his drink to spill Eric accepted the apology instead of busting the young man’s head. He smiled proudly to himself at his restraint.
A voice from his past called to him, “Eric I don’t know what magic your under but it is working for you. I wasn’t a fan of your former bulkiness. As you are now you’ll have greater speed and agility. They will serve you better in the long run. Now what brings you back this way. I thought that you were trying to form some kind of peace with Emeril last I heard.” A lithe male elf sat down with Eric offering his hand.
Eric shook the hand say, “I am looking for some companions Eltoar in such a quest. Emeril wants the tribes of the north to settle down. That means dealing with the wolf tribe. Their cries are the loudest to make war with Dar. I don’t know if it will involve fighting but coming to them in a position of strength will certainly help.”
Eltoar laughed, “What have you done with my friend? That sounds like a reasonable plan. But not rushing in and getting help doesn’t sound like you. Are you alright?”” He asked feigning concern.
Eric smirked, “I have rid myself of the wolverine spirit and find myself thinking with a clear head. You up for an excursion?”
Eltoar considered for a minute before responding, “How could I resist seeing you with a bit of sense guiding you. Any idea who else you might bring? I am a good ranger and can act as scout on the trip but a priest and mage of some sort would make me feel more confidant. Another meat shield wouldn’t hurt.
Eric nodded, “Let’s see who we got here that might work. Tara the moon guided might work though she can be a little spacey. Jordan over there is a warmage of some ability though young. There are a number of other sell swords that I am not as familiar with. Who do you think we should approach?”
