The gate opposite of Sonya and Shao Kahn opens and Jade walks out towards them. Sonya cracks a smirk and says to Shao Kahn, just loudly enough for Jade to hear, "Seriously? She is the best you can do? What is some slut with a stripper pole gonna do to me?"
Aggravated, Jade calls out "How DARE you insult this classic Edinian garb you will pay earthrealm bitch!" and sets up a shadow kick aimed straight for Sonya's head. By this point Sonya had already known she won the battle. To fight blinded with anger distorts your rational fighting tactics. With a sidestep, Jades heel whizzes past Sonya's face. Sonya plants a right hook, a left jab and a kick to the stomach before uppercutting Jade into the air. With a well aimed arc-kick, Sonya follows jade into the air, Connects her boot into Jade's face, and sends her flying into the wall.
Dizzied, but not out Jade raises herself to her feet. Her clothes were damaged, but she didn't care. The Edinians were used to losing their clothes on the battlefield. Her mask had been ripped off by Sonya's boot and the cloth around her waist was bairly holding. Jade took hold of her throwing glaive and chucked it at the incoming blonde. It was a good throw, but Sonya was a great dodger, so it left nothing but a small scratch on her shoulder. Jade followed up with staff swing, but it was no use. Sonya ducked the attack and snatched the staff right from jades hands. She spun around the back of Jade and planted the staff with all her might into the small of Jade's back. Jade lay in the sand helpless as the audience hooted and hollered, and Sonya stood above her with a smug look on her face.
Shao Kahn raised from his seat and bellowed out his signature line.
" FINISH HER! "
