Korra, Asami, and Lin Beifong where all being led through the halls of Future Industries a company owned by the Satos. Today Asami was going to show Korra and Lin a new invention that was in its testing stage. The invention is a shrink ray that will be used by the New Republic Police to shrink down criminals for easier arrests. As they almost made to the room Lin mentions how its pretty warm today and she asks Asami if its ok to be walking around barefoot. Asami says yes and Lin's boots retract revealing her sweaty bare feet, Korra thinks to herself on how she doesn't want to be near those feet. Finally all three of them make it to the room in which the shrink ray was being held and Korra noticed how big it was. Asami explained how it worked and that since it was still a prototype it could only shrink and not regrow, but they will fix that problem she assured. So Asami leads Korra and Lin towards another room but Korra asks if its ok for her to stay and look at the ray a little more. Asami tells Korra yes and so she takes a better look at it while Asami and Lin leave the room. As Korra continues to look over the shrink ray she unknowingly bumps the button that turns on the machine and as she walks away from it she is hit by a beam created by it. Korra begins to notice the world around was getting larger and larger, in which she realizes she is getting smaller and smaller. When she finally stops shrinking she sees how unimaginably large everything has become. What she didn't know was the machine was set to its smallest setting, so now Korra only stands at the height of 1/10th millimeters. Before she could take everything in thunderous footsteps could be heard coming into the room. Korra turns around to the doorway and sees a massive pare of feet enter the room.
