Chapter #3
A Car Ride, a Head Injury, and a Very Angry Guard
by: Unknown
It was early morning that hot summer day as a armored car drove down the highway towards a large and very strange amusement park. Inside the armored car lied three people, two guards and a prisoner.
“Name?” says the guard on the passenger side of the car.
“Alex” the prisoner replies not looking up from where he sat in the armored car. The prisoner had dark blond hair though there wasn’t much of a source of light coming into the armored car so not even the guards could make out anything more than his head. Thank god he was chained up.
“He means your full name…” the guard who was driving the armored car explained.
“Alexander Necro” the prisoner replied smiling a somewhat cocky smile.
“Necro? That can’t be your real last name! Tell me what it really is” the now irritated guard on the passenger’s side of the demanded!
“Now now, no need to get all bet out of shape. After all I’m going to prison. It’s not like I’m going to really need a last name. After all I’m only a criminal” the prisoner groaned a bit annoyed by the guard’s tone of voice.
“Whatever, just shut up” the annoyed guard yelled as he turned back to face the front windshield of the armored car.
A half hour passes before the armored car finally arrives at its destination, Deadman Wonderland, a theme park with many sights and attractions, some of which are never even seen by the public eye. However soon, yes very soon, would the prisoner in the armored car meet these ‘secret’ attractions those along with many of Deadman inner secrets including the deadmen within!
“Oh look we’re here” the prisoner said spontaneously out of nowhere after having been quiet for the last several minutes.
“Whoa? What? How do you know that?” the driver guard asked a bit shock to hear the prisoner’s sudden outburst? The prisoner simply smiled and sniffed the air.
“I can smell the cotton candy. I hope I can get some later” the prisoner exclaimed in a moment of bliss. He did enjoy his sweets, even before that who incident of the burning high school. ‘Ah so many good sweats, burned to nothing but ash. How tragic’ the prisoner thought, shrugging.
“Heh you’re not getting any where you’re going” the guard on the passenger side of the car gloated wickedly as the car came to an immediate and sudden stop causing the prisoner inside to slam headfirst into the metal floor of the armored car’s right sight (he was on the left side and the stop sent him forward into the opposite wall)
“Ow” the prisoner groaned, rubbing his head as a small trace of blood began to seep out of a newly formed cut on the top of his head.
“Sorry my foot slipped” the driver apologized sincerely.
“I’m okay. Oh and where am I going exactly, if you don’t mind me asking Mr. Secret-keeping-guard-of-secrets?” the prisoner asked in an antagonizing yet devious tone.
“W-what? S-shut up! Stop putting words in my mouth” the passenger guard quickly snapped back as he walked to the back of the truck and began to open the door.
“Oh sorry, maybe there’s something in the air. I guess that or maybe it’s these shackles which are a bit tight on the ankles by the way. Honestly did you people really have to bind my legs? I mean where do I have to go exactly?”
“Just shut the hell up and get out of there!” the now very annoyed guard barked as the bright sunlight of the afternoon sun pierced the inside of the truck like a hail of bullets. The prisoner tried to stand and came very close to walking and hoping out of the armored car when suddenly.
“Whoops” suddenly the guard stuck his foot out, causing the prisoner to trip and tumble out of the armored car.
“Ow, what was that for” the prisoner wined rubbing his head once more, the cut on his head opening even further.
“I hope it did you damn annoying son of a bitch!” the guard growled vengefully as he began to stomp on the wounded prisoner before him.
Several painful and bloody minutes pass as the guard continues his curve stomp of a beat down on the prisoner before suddenly stopping at the sound of a female voice.
“That’s enough Takada” a female voice called from behind the guard. Immediately the torturer of the prisoner stopped his assault. The guard quickly saluted and a woman stepped forward, followed behind her was another women though she was smaller.
“Warden Makina” the guard gasped in shock.
“What were you doing to that prisoner just now” asked the smaller women besides Makina whose name was a mystery right now.
“Um…well… you see I was…it’s this prisoner’s fault! He attacked me” the guard gasped in a hurry. It almost seemed like he was falling to pieces at the mere sight of this Warden Makina.
“T-that’s a lie” the prisoner coughed, some of it normal saliva while the other parts was blood.
“Get this prisoner to Doctor Takashima” Warden Makina explained walking forward towards the guard named Takada “I’ll see you in my office later Takada.” The guard gulped hard, he knew he was in for it and god help him that he’d be alive tomorrow. The guard took one last look at the prisoner and growled a warning.
“Next time I see you, you’re not gonna have her to save you” the guard growled as the women beside Makina walked past the Takada and helped the prisoner up.
“Don’t worry we’ll have you to the infirmary soon” her voice sounded sincere and the prisoner nodded.
“Thank you” the prisoner said as he stood up with help from the woman beside him.
“It was because I wanted to help you, it was because I didn’t want to see one of my guards break a rule” Makina quickly replied.
“Okay but still thanks” the prison said bowing before finally leaving for the infirmary.
“Now Takada…” Makina began.
‘*Gulp* I’m gonna die’ Takada’s last thoughts before the prisoner vanished from view.
