The blue light from the vortex hallway was soothing but the blackness behind the light looked a lot like space...like OUTER SPACE, and that realization alone was enough to freak you out. However, the red tinged hallway looked like something out of a bloody creature feature horror movie...and if you went back down the slime hallway there's no telling how fat you'd be by the time you got back out. Or judging by the state of your skin and clothing whether you'd be able to touch anything without being in significant pain.
You pressed gingerly on one of the zits on your face, flinching away from the stinging sensation almost immediately. Shaking your head vigorously...and trying to ignore how that sets your entire probably-450+ pound body wobbling... you turn towards the vortex hallway and start waddling forward.
As you get closer to it there's a noticeable increase in the pulling sensation. It's not unlike being in a stream close to an area where the current speeds up. By the time you're within a few feet of the entrance of the hall you don't think you'd be able to turn around if you even tried. Your flip-flopped feet are even sliding towards the hall when you aren't even taking a step...aided by the remains of the slime from the ooze hallway.
You're inches away from the entry now, and you can see that the blue light almost seems to form a water-like surface across the doorway. 'Maybe this wasn't such a great idea...' You think to yourself, scrabbling backwards with your feet but not making any progress.
And then...you're sliding through the veil of light, and it's Cold! It's like getting splashed with icy water, you start to shiver all over...once again feeling preoccupied with how much your body is jiggling. It really does feel like you're suspended in water, and your instinct is to hold your breath and squeeze your eyes closed. But you weren't prepared for a long time of holding your breath when you went into the hall so... all too soon your lungs are clamoring for air and your held breath bursts out of your mouth...but not in bubbles.
You can breath you realize looking around, the sense of water rushing around you is still there but it doesn't feel as cold now. The blue light has the kind of quality that light refracting through a pool has on the bottom, it's wavery and rippling. And you're definitely floating along, your toes are drifting by the metal mesh of the walkway about an inch over it. But if you grab the railing and pull downward you can get your feet on it and stop yourself.
Holding the railing you're able to stop for a moment, but the "current" is strong. And it's a few seconds before you notice that the gunk you'd gotten all over your body going down the ooze hallway is dissolving off of you. Even your outfit is going back to what it used to be before the ooze turned you into a flatulent slob. The sticky slimy ooze is wafting away from you and being sucked down below the walkway as you continue to hold yourself in place.
You groan softly, swiping at your shirt as it billows around you and then let yourself drift down the hallway some more. You notice as you do so that you don't feel any zits on your body anymore either, that's a major relief and as for your body itself it's...
