"Hypnotized.... Hahahahahaha!!" Tom laughed at Diane's plan, and at the thought of hypnosis. Tom never did believe such a thing. "You're funny, Diane, even if hypnosis was real, which it's not. I don't think you would be able to get me anyway, but thanks for the laugh." Tom continued laughing at Diane.
"Oh is that so, you think hypnosis is fake, well then will see who is right?" Diane grinned, she walked to the corner of the attic and pulled out a briefcase, that read 'Diane's Briefcase.' She pulled a chair and a little table in front of Tom, while putting the briefcase on top of the table, and smiling.
"Oh! This is the part where you hypnotize me, right? Well it still doesn't matter, and all this is just a cheap trick. I'll humor you." Tom said in a unworried tone.
"Since you're being a good sport, I'll let you go if I can't hypnotize you, but chances of that are zero. I think I'll give 3 choices of what I should entrance you with." Diane smiled opening her case and shuffling through it. "First, I have a laptop that has a program on it, utilizing a spiral. Second, a crystal pendant with me swinging it. Thirdly, this final entrancing technique is not an item in this briefcase, but.... something that may be kind of funny to you, and you would question on how it works, but I assure you it works every time." Diane said, with teasing in her voice.
"Spiral, crystal pendant, and...." Tom asked.
"My feet, I know it may sound strange, but 10 toes can mesmerize anyone, and that's without my soles, heels, and arches." Diane replied, while looking at her shoe'd feet.
"Just when I thought this couldn't get any stranger." Tom stared at the case.
"Hey, we live in a strange world, and that's what makes us human. Now choose, you're burning moonlight." She said, while checking her phone on the time.
"Let's see, spiral, crystal pendant, or your feet?" Tom repeated the choices, he wasn't sure what he got himself into, but there was no way back. So Tom finally decided to be hypnotized by....
