You choose an unoccupied group of seats and make yourself comfortable. Once everyone is seated, the pilot's voice comes through hidden speakers. "Please make sure your seatbelts are fastened. We will begin acceleration in a few moments. Please remain in your seats until we have stabilised at one G, simulating normal earth gravity."
As promised, you feel the craft begin to accelerate. You feel gravity return and you are once more pushed back hard into your chair. After a few minutes the force deceases and it begins to feel like normal.
"We have stabilised acceleration at one G" the pilot's voice returns. "You are now free to move about the cabin."
You spend the flight reading the books you brought with you.
"We are approaching the halfway point." The pilot's voice returns a couple of hours later. "Please return to your seats and fasten your seat belts. In a few moments we will be turning off the main engines and inverting the shuttle to begin the deceleration phase."
You watch everyone move back to their seats as you put your books away securely.
You feel the acceleration weaken and you become weightless again as the Shuttle flips upside down to point the main engines in the opposite direction then you feel your weight returning as they start. "We have returned to 1G." The pilot says. "You may once again move freely around the cabin."
