Laura makes some changes to her life

"Well, I guess a few improvements to my life would be a good start" she said to herself.

Immediately her small house was transformed into a giant palace truly worthy of her majesty, with spires reaching seemingly to the heavens and all the luxuries only the ruler of the universe could afford. The walls were inlaid with gold, crystals and precious gemstones, and the rooms were a true testament to Laura's new divine authority ... each one seemingly more incredible than the last. In the very center of the enormous palace was Laura's bedroom, the most stunning room of the whole palace. The amber walls were decorated with unearthly art of the finest quality, while the room's furnishings were priceless specimens of craftsmanship. She put particular attention into ensuring her bed was the most comfortable thing in the universe.

All around the palace, the houses changed too. The very land changed so that her palace was at the top of a hill, not the bottom. All around, green gardens and springs came up from the ground, stretching for miles around the palace. Beyond that were expensive villas of those privileged enough to live near the immortal goddess and ruler over all creation herself, Laura. Whole populations shifted in an instant, the very course of human development having been changed by the presence of the teen goddess in that particular spot. The only thing that didn't move was Laura's school, but that too got an upgrade, now being the best resourced and most elite school in the universe. Anyone would kill to have the chance to go to school with Laura, after all, since 100% of the world's population immediately converted to Lauraism. Religious disagreements ended in a flash, as everyone accepted that Laura was indeed the one true goddess.

"Well that was pretty easy" said Laura "I think just a few more changes would be good though..."

Presently her clothing disappeared, replaced by something a little more befitting of Laura's new status - a stunning white dress with millions of shining diamonds. The socks on her feet were replaced by glistening golden sandals, golden armbands appeared on her arms, a stunning necklace materialized around her neck, and a crown of golden laurels popped into existence on her head. The clothing was all perfectly tailored for her body - which, in the same instant, wasn't really the same either. The young divine girl had of course made herself into an idealized version of herself - a radiant, youthful, strong, insanely beautiful goddess, so much better than the sum of every religious idol who had come before her. Even Laura was captivated by her own figure for a moment.

No longer were Laura's soccer team constantly defeated - instead, thanks to Laura, they won every game by a margin of thousands of goals. Her team were the top of the league and she herself had, of course, been offered placements in all the world's top teams. Not only soccer, but every sport imaginable - she now did everything from volleyball to karate to table tennis. No matter what she did, she was the best, always, and her teams always won. This was equally true of academics, as Laura awarded herself honorary doctorates in everything she could think of from every top university. Oh, and every science fair prize. And to top it off, she made herself student president at the newly-renamed Glory of Laura High School.

"Perfect" remarked Laura, her voice now sounding powerful and seductive "Oh and one last thing..."

Finally her computer disappeared, looking terribly out of place in her magnanimous room anyway, and was replaced by a human - a 13-year old boy. Laura made him look cute, with dark hair and green eyes, along with a toned body exactly to her liking. It was, of course, still her computer - implants in the boy's body gave him direct access to the internet, for example, and he could calculate things nearly instantly. Finally, Laura made a pair of small fluffy white feathered wings spout from the boy's back, adorned his head with a halo, and dressed him in a simple toga.

"You're called Archangel Luke now, and you're my second boyfriend as well as my chief messenger, ok?" Laura said to her new creation, smiling.

"Oh, uh, alright" said Archangel Luke, who was formerly known as Laura's computer. Laura also made Jake, her other boyfriend, understand and completely accept her divine decision.

"Great" said Laura "Well, I'm done with improving my life for now, I think... I wonder who else I can help..."
