Saria sat on the stump in front of the forest temple in the lost woods, Playing her ocarina like she did every day. It was getting late, so she decided to head home. Just as she stood up, A Deku Baba sprouted from the ground in front of her, causing her to stumble back.
"Link! Someone! Help!" She cried out, the Deku Baba loomed closer to her, snapping and drooling. She was too deep in the woods for anyone to hear her.
The monstrous plants Roots sprouted from the ground and ensnared her, tightly restraining her as she continued to struggle and call for help.
