I saw her in the living room with my little sister, and our moms watching the report on TV. They all had fearful looks on their faces.

"Oh, no," Beth said.

"What are we gonna do?" Lisa asked.

"M-m-maybe he hasn't gotten the alert, and we could not tell him?" Cathy suggested.

"That may be a bad idea," Lucy said. "Stardust, or one of his other friends may have gotten the news, and if they tell him, he'll find out, and we'll be in even more trouble."

I slowly and quietly snuck up behind them, waiting to strike.

"You have a point, sis," Beth said.

"Then what will we do?" my mothers asked.

"Whatever I tell you too," I said.
