"Okay, Ben, you're the man of the house now. Make sure you take care of your brothers while we're gone for the weekend, okay?"
Ben looked up at his dad, fought the urge to roll his eyes, and nodded. "Yes, Dad, I will."
"And remember, there's no cellular service up in the mountains, so make sure to call the lodge if you need anything. We'll be in room 206."
"Got it." Ben waved goodbye to his parents, and as they got in the car, he slammed the door and turned around. Being eighteen wasn't all it was cracked up to be. Sure he had the house parents-free for three whole days, but what he also had was his two younger brothers to watch out for. He desperately wanted to have a party on Saturday night and invite half of the senior class, but he wasn't quite sure what to do with the two little dweebs.
He walked into the living room, where Dweeb 1, Jason, and Dweeb 2, Sean, were watching TV. They weren't so bad, he realized, as far as younger brothers go, but he just wish he could have some time alone from them, some time to be an adult. He'd get that in a few months when he went of to college, but for now, it drove him a little crazy. Sighing, he ran his hands through his medium-length blonde hair.
"Hey, Ben," Jason, the nine-year-old, asked, "did Mom and Dad just leave?"
"Yes, they did," Ben said. "They were just in here a few minutes ago saying good-bye, remember?"
"Oh…" Jason shrugged, his big blue eyes beaming from below his short-cut blonde hair. "I guess I was too absorbed in this show."
"Turn the TV off, anyways," Ben ordered. "You guys need to finish up your homework."
"But it's Friday!" Sean, the 13-year-old, protested. "We got all weekend!" Turning back to the TV, the shaggy-haired brunette flipped the channel to something else.
"Hey, I was watching that!" Jason protested.
"It's a commercial, I'll flip it back in a minute," Sean countered.
"No, you don't have all weekend," Ben shook his head, stepping over to the TV and hitting the power button. "I've got plans for tomorrow, and you guys are going to need to be out of the house. So that means you need to do your homework tonight!"
"Plans?" Jason asked, a curious look on his face. "What plans?"
Sean snorted, "He's probably gonna sit alone waiting for nobody to call and invite him out." Sticking out the remote, he hit the button and turned the TV back on.
Ben glared at Sean, walking up and grabbing the remote out of his hands. "Look, Mom and Dad left me in charge while they were gone, which means you two have to do what I say. And I say you're doing homework. Now, I'm going to go upstairs to change; when I'm back down here in ten minutes, you two better have your books open and your pencils and paper out, understand?"
Jason slowly nodded, while Sean just rolled his eyes. Taking this in as much of an affirmation as he could get, Ben headed upstairs, leaving the two younger brothers behind for the moment.
"What a dick," Sean muttered.
"Well," Jason shrugged, "at least if we get it done tonight, we'll have all day tomorrow and Sunday to do something fun!"
"Didn't you hear him, Jason?" Sean sat up, turning to his brother. "He's planning on having some sort of party tomorrow night here. Which means we will be the ones cleaning up all day Sunday. It's not going to be a fun weekend."
"Oh." Jason's smile faded, and he slouched back down on the couch.
After a few moments of silence, the TV flipped back on, although the only thing that it displayed was a static background.
"Hey, I thought Ben took the remote!" Jason exclaimed.
"He did!" Sean sat up, looking at the TV. "He must've turned it back on accidentally."
"From upstairs?" Jason asked doubtfully. "I don't think the remote travels that--"
"Jason! Sean! Can you hear me?"
Both boys' ears perked up at this, and they looked around. "Was that coming from--"
"Yes, yes, I'm inside the TV. Listen, do you two have a minute?"
Sean stood up, walking closer to the set. "W-who are you?"
"Don't worry about my name; that's not important right now. I'm what you humans call a 'demigod', specifically, a demigod of size. And I'm using your town as a little, shall we say, experiment of sorts."
Jason now stood up, looking between the TV and his brother with a confused stare. "A Demigod? What's that?"
"Basically, I can use my powers to do pretty much anything I want. And right now, I'm going to use them to let all the boys in your town have some fun. For the next three days, all the boys between seven and fourteen in your town can cause themselves to grow anytime they want! I just got here, and I'm going to let everyone else know, but you two are the first on my list. Does that sound like fun?"
"Fun? Grow?" Sean's mouth had dropped open in disbelief.
Jason, however, was much more enthusiastic. "Wow, really? Yeah, that sounds like a lot of fun!"
"Great! Then listen closely, and I'll tell you what you need to do in order to grow. The first thing is…"

Up in his bedroom, Ben had just changed out of his school polo and khakis and into a much more comfortable set of jeans. Standing shirtless before his full-length mirror, he flexed a little, impressed with how good his body looked right now. He wasn't a muscle-freak, or anything, but he did have a six-pack for abs and two firm and pronounced pecs, along with well-defined biceps and triceps. He had a body that wouldn't have a hard time getting any girl he wanted, and he knew it.
As he slipped on his favorite t-shirt, he suddenly heard something from downstairs, what sounded like… the TV being turned on. Ben shook his head in disgust. "Sean! Jason! You'd better be starting on that homework!"
In response, he heard...
