Writer's Block

"You don't know how to continue your new novel?" Cadence nods. You suddenly have an idea. "Well, I took a some creative writing classes in high school, maybe I can help. A look of joyous relief graces Cadence's face as she sighs and lets out a grunt of thanks. "It's no problem. After all you've done for me, this is the least I can do."


After you eat breakfast, Cadence picks you up and places you front of her computermwith her in progress novel opened on screen. You quickly skim through th3 story and see it was a story of a werewolf, cursed to transform into a human at sunset every day. An idea begins to form in your mind. "You know what would be funny?" You say "If the werewolf was Lupa. I'd like to see her being shown how it feels to be at the bottom of the food chain."



Cadence actually finds this notion amusing, and makes a few edits to the story so Lupa is the main character. For the next few hours, you dictated your ideas to Cadence while she typed away. Since this was supposed to be a horror novel, you decided to have it end with Lupa being eaten, as she had done to countless humans. You smiled to yourself as Cadence typed the final sentence. "Well, I quite enjoyed that. Maybe for your next book, we can make it about Nefernina." Cadence presses print as the two of you share a laugh.



A few weeks later, Cadence'new book is published. There's a knock at the door, and Cadence answers it, only to find Lupa standing there with a copy of her new book. What does Lupa want?
