Good Idea, Wrong Devise to use

But she couldn’t just move on. She knew throughout the world there would always be Vanessa’s and they always would pick on Angie’s. It was an unfair cruelty of the world. Those who had power would always miss use it one way or another. She knew she only needed to make it to graduation then things would be easier in college, but that felt so far away.

She had checked self-help books, pamphlets, guides, how-to, help sites. Anything that gave advise on dealing with bullies. Most of it had nothing but sugar-coated after-school special nonsense that only worked on TV shows. There was only one good piece of advice that was any good. That advise was to not to bottle up your emotions, find a health way to let it out. Not doing so lead to it all coming out at the worst time in the worst way, and lead to bad choices. It heavily hinted at suicide, and before today Angie would have laugh it getting that bad off. It advised having a sympathetic ear, something to write in, or something to speak into and just let loose your emotions. She usually had Lucy who was always down for a good Vanessa insult session, but with her not here she needed a substitution, and low and behold she had a perfectly good recorded available.

She had arrived home and went straight to her room. She picked up the recorded and thought back to what happened to her today. Thinking of that brought back to mind the many other incidents that happened at the school, not all of them featuring Vanessa. Thinking about all those times she was bullied, all the people who ether walked away, laughed, or joined in, of all the teacher who did little to nothing to stop anything that happened at the school. All of it went through her mind, and instead of the usual sadness that came. What came was anger, hatred and rage came. She had no intentions of controlling it she planned to just let it all out.

She took a deep breath, press record on the Dictaphone, and let fly…
