Tails was working with a strange material he had recently found. It was almost like a scale or quill from an animal that had most likely gone extinct. After all, it was very beautiful and most beautiful objects that came from animals were taken through either skinning it or taking it out forcefully. He had contemplated these thoughts for a while before finally deciding to use it…or at least figure out what it was and what it did, if it did anything at all.
"How does something like this even still exist? It couldn't have been kept safe for this long. But what if there's more of these somewhere? Maybe on a different continent or something. Oh well. I'm not gonna find anything out like this. I'll just analyze it and see what I can find out." Tails sighed, taking the scale over to a nearby machine. After a few minutes, the machine gave him the analysis. "It would be impossible to use for decoration. But it's an excellent component for a lazer. But it seems to be unable to hurt anything. Hmm…" Tails then built the lazer gun and added the scale to make the actual lazer beam. "Alright. Time to test it out!" he thought. Then a knock came at the door. "Guess testing can wait long enough to see who's there."
