A race of gargantuan creatures come to earth, but are they peaceful or hostile?
This choice: To Reggie's place to watch her band play  •  Go Back...
Chapter #4

Front Row Seat

    by: Unknown
You think about what to do and then you remember one of your anthro friends, that punk hyena woman Reggie. She and a few friends of hers had formed a band called "STAMPEDE" and Reggie did tell you that you were invited to listen anytime you wanted, but you never actually visited before. You figured that you might as well get a front row seat. Fortunately Reggie didn't live too far away and you knew a shortcut to get to her garage.

As you get closer to Reggie's house, you hear music already playing loudly but from the sound of it, it was just a warm up. You decide to run close to the side of the wall and then you inch up inside the garage and see Reggie's band playing loudly. They were all female anthros and they were all African animals. The bassist who played alongside Reggie on guitar was a golden furred lioness, an odd thing considering real hyenas and lions were enemies. There was a zebra anthro girl on the keyboard and a giraffe girl on drums. Reggie herself was playing the guitar and held out her tongue as she gave her trademark grin. All this time you never knew that she had a tongue piercing.

The music was a little loud, given the size of the players and you decided the best thing to do would be to cover your ears to avoid going deaf, but you could still hear the sound waves. It was a good tune. You thing you could hear Reggie and her lioness friend singing but it was hard to hear anything over the loud music that was playing faster than any song Dragonforce could make. You actually nod your head a few times as you listen. Reggie's music was heavy metal in nature and you heard some words about the "last door to the apocalypse". That must've been the name of the song but it wasn't exactly clear.

Soon, the music stopped and you decide to clap. It was the wildest sound you had ever experienced. However, it would appear none of them have noticed their little fan had been watching and then Reggie lets out a sigh and the lioness shakes her head. "What was that Reggie?" asks the lioness. "That was weak. I could barely hear myself sing, let alone hear you." Reggie lets out a grunt. "Sorry Maggie, I'm doing the best I can..." The giraffe girl merely shakes her head. "Well, it's your own fault. We're playing so fast, you two barely have time to sing. Can you be anymore hyperactive hyena girl?" The zebra girl nods her head. "And we don't even have an audience." "Calm down girls," says Reggie. "I'm working on getting a gig. And I wouldn't raise my voice to a carnivore if I were you." "What's the point of playing if nobody sees us?" asks the giraffe girl. "Uh-oh," said Maggie. "Watch out Reggie. It looks like they're revolting."

Perhaps you came at a bad time. You know all bands argue and it looked like even anthro bands did as well. Should you talk to them and critique their sound, or should you leave them to deal with their own issues?

You have the following choices:

*Noteb*
1. Approach Reggie

*Noteb*
2. Approach Maggie

*Noteb*
3. Leave the band to talk this out

*Noteb* indicates the next chapter needs to be written.
