Violet noticed Wonka's approach and separated herself from Veruca so as to greet the crazy candy man. He greeted her warmly and informed her about a personal tour extension he was planning on. Violet accepted without a second thought, unaware of Wonka's true intentions. He lead her to a dimly lit corridor and explained that down such a lonely hallway was her ticket to the grand prize. Violet smirked, feeling she had been handed her victory with ease, and thanked Wonka before peeling down the shady passage. Her trek led her further and further away from the bright lights of the Chocolate Room and into a three-way split.
