Pain.
Pain...was the only thing she felt at the moment.
As she drifted about in a Medical Bacta Tank within a Rebel Alliance outpost, the Twi'lek pilot of the Ghost, Hera Syndulla contemplated as to how she ended up in this position in the first place...

"Come on, Come on! Let's go!!"
Hers yelled out to her comrades, as they attempted to escape from a nearby Imperial Production Facility they just explicitly sabotaged.
And yet, unlike previous missions, something went wrong, as Kanan and Ezra were losing their footing against another of the dreaded Inquisitors; A hulking female Dowutin known only as "The Ninth Sister".
Kanan and Ezra were losing the battle, as they were put on the defensive against the Inquisitor behemoth, while Seb and Sabine tried to assist them with long range blaster fire, but to no avail.
But moments after recovering from a swift Force Push from Kanan, the Ninth Sister soon showed a sneering grin, letting out a brief chuckle as well.
"What's so funny?" Ezra growled, only to witness as the Ninth Sister swiftly thrusted out her unarmed hand, her fingers positioned in a Dark Side Force attack.

Soon, Hera quickly felt as if her insides were being crushed from within, causing her to let out a painful shriek!
"HERA!!" Kanan roared, realizing what the Ninth Sister was doing, and on instinct, he swung his lightsaber towards the Ninth Sister, which ultimately resulted in the Inquisitor losing a sizeable portion of her arm in the process!
And with haste, the group swiftly made their exit from the area. However, upon reaching the ship's bridge, they found Hera lying on the metallic floor in excruciating pain, clinging to her stomach region with a pained expression on her face, while Seb took her place at the helm for the time being.
Nonetheless, the Ghost crew was dealt a serious blow...

Despite the reasonable request from the medics that she should be left to recover, Kanan couldn't help himself with accepting this.
And as he sat on a nearby stool, twiddling his thumbs, he felt as if he had failed to protect Hera from such an adversary, as the guilt felt a little too unbearable to comprehend.
After all, he was starting to have affectionate feelings toward the Twi'lek pilot. And yet, whilst he swam through his personal thoughts...
